Meditation And Mindful-based Stress Reduction Workshops |

What You Can Expect Our eight-week stress reduction group meets once a week for two hours. The workshop offers meditation instruction with guided meditations, body awareness through mindful movement and a guided body-scan. We offer tools for transforming stressful thoughts, behaviors and communication patterns through experiential exercises and facilitated group discussion. Each session includes exercises for participants to practice at home between sessions. A focus during the eight weeks is helping participants integrate these practices into daily life. No previous experience with mediation is necessary. |

About The Group Leaders · Berenice Glass, L.C.S.W. is a licensed therapist who has been in private practice for over 35 years. She works with adults, couples and families on a variety of issues including anxiety, depression and interpersonal conflict. In addition to her psychotherapy practice, Berenice has been a meditation practitioner for over 20 years. · Lisa Davis, L.C.S.W. is a licensed therapist who has been in practice for 15 years. She has worked with adults, families and children in a variety of settings including her position as Clinical Director of Pasadena Mental Health in California. Lisa has practiced meditation for over 15 years. |
